Data Analytics Executive

Job Summary:

The Data Analytics Executive at Jaipuria Institute of Management will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing business intelligence solutions using Power BI. The role involves data analysis, visualization, and reporting to support data-driven decision-making across the institute.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Analysis and Reporting:

Develop, publish, and schedule Power BI reports and dashboards to meet the institute's requirements.

Extract, clean, and transform data from various sources to prepare it for analysis.

Data Visualization:

Create visually appealing and interactive dashboards using Power BI.

Ensure the accuracy and quality of data presented in dashboards and reports.

Collaboration and Communication:

Work closely with academic and administrative stakeholders to understand their data needs and provide insights.

Present analytical findings and insights to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.

Performance Monitoring:

Monitor the performance of Power BI solutions and optimize them for better efficiency.

Troubleshoot and resolve any data or performance issues related to Power BI reports and dashboards.

Continuous Improvement:

Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in data analytics and Power BI.

Recommend improvements and enhancements to existing data analytics processes and tools.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or a related field.

Proven experience as a Data Analyst or similar role, with a strong focus on Power BI.

Proficiency in Power BI, including DAX and Power Query.

Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with SQL, Python, or R for data manipulation and analysis.

Knowledge of other BI tools like Tableau or QlikView.

Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
