JOB DESCRIPTION

Data Analyst

ROLE DESCRIPTION

The purpose of this role is to interpret data and turn into information (Excel management, reports, dashboards, interactive visualizations etc) which can offer ways to improve a business, thus affecting business decisions.

QUALIFICATION

Two to Three years of experience in field of data analytics from automobile or any manufacturing industry, with bachelor's degree in any related field (preferably, Engineering, Data science, Statistics, etc) with experience in Data sourcing, cleaning, structuring, and analyzing.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Gather information from various sources (data warehouses, database, data integration and modelling) and interpret patterns and trends.
• Develop record management process and policies & handle the Share Point data to Excel automation.
• Build and maintain relationships at all levels within the other department base and understand their requirements.
• Identify areas to increase efficiency and automation of processes and Set up and maintain automated data process.
• Identify, evaluate and implement external services and tools to support data validation and cleansing.
• Analyze the data sets and provide adequate information, Liaise with internal and external to fully understand data content.
• Design and carry out surveys and analyze survey data as per the Team requirement.
• Analyze and interpret complex data sets relating to Management, business and prepare reports for internal and external audiences using business analytics reporting tools.
• Create data dashboards, graphs and visualization to showcase business performance and also provide sector and competitor bench marking.
• Analyze large datasets, draw valid inferences and present them successfully to management using a reporting tool.
• Develop predictive models and share insights with the clients as per their requirement.

PREFERRED SKILLS

• Knowledge of current and upcoming technology (automation, tools and systems) to build efficiencies and effectiveness in own function/ Client organization.
• Ability to follow the standards and norms to produce consistent results, provide effective control and reduction of risk.
• Knowledge of various programming languages/ software (Python, Microsoft Excel, VBA, Matlab, SQL etc) and tools on data analytics.
