Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Data Analyst with a strong background in statistics and data analysis to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have prior experience as a Statistician, proficiency in R programming, and exposure to SQL, Tableau, and Power BI. This role requires a keen analytical mindset, the ability to interpret complex data sets, and excellent communication skills to convey insights effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect, clean, and preprocess data from various sources to ensure data quality and integrity.
- Conduct statistical analysis using R to identify trends, patterns, and relationships in data sets.
- Develop, implement, and maintain databases using SQL to support data analysis and reporting needs.
- Create interactive and visually appealing dashboards and reports using Tableau and Power BI to present findings to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and provide actionable insights.
- Use data visualization techniques to simplify complex data and enhance decision-making processes.
- Document and communicate analytical methodologies, results, and insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in data analysis tools and techniques.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Statistician and Data Analyst.
- Proficiency in R programming for statistical analysis.
- Experience with SQL for database management and querying.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau and Power BI.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in a related field.
- Experience with machine learning algorithms and predictive modeling.
