MediaMath s Analytics team is currently seeking a Data Analyst with the knowledge, passion, and capability to mine complex datasets, discover and deliver insights that drive value for our clients and internal teams. The analytics team works on reporting, statistical and predictive modeling, and serves as leaders for advanced analyses for both clients and internal teams like Product and Ecosystem. The ideal candidate has the appropriate blend of technical capabilities, business acumen, and analytical skills to be a part of a team that focuses on the largest challenges of AdTech and uncovers actionable insights that drive revenue.
You will:
- Develop a deep understanding of MediaMath databases and their architecture
- Partner with the account and sales team to identify client s analytical and reporting needs and present solutions
- Partner closely with product and supply team members on designing experiments around bid shading, supply path optimization (among other initiatives) and ultimately proving/disproving hypothesis that translates into large impact business decisions
- Help Data Science and Optimization teams improve algorithms and models
- Create materials (client facing and internal) that package and promote Analytics offerings
- Design innovative and exciting reports and analyses and fully own projects from scope to execution
- Articulate results of data analysis to clients and internal groups; translate technical results to a non-technical audience
- Develop a deep understanding of MediaMaths algorithms and bidder logic, how it impacts auction dynamics, and utilize that knowledge to interpret trends in auction data
- Produce strategic insights with a service level of consistent quality to partners and stakeholders, including Executives, Product, Marketing, Sales, etc
You have:
- 4+ years of experience working at a start-up or tech company in an analytical role
- In-depth knowledge of Python, SQL, Scala. Experience with Databricks a plus.
- Experience with statistical modeling (e.g linear and logistic regressions), recommendation engines, forecasting
- Initiative to improve on existing processes and create new ones.
