- As a Marketplace Analyst, you will be responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and optimizing our presence on different e-commerce platforms to provide actionable insights and support strategic decision-making
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and analyze key performance metrics across various online marketplaces, including sales, traffic, conversion rates, and customer feedback.
- Performing advanced statistical analysis and data modeling to identify trends, patterns, and growth opportunities.
- Develop and execute inventory planning strategies to optimize inventory levels and turnover rates across multiple international markets.
- Analyzing sales trends, historical data, and market demand to forecast future inventory needs accurately.
- Conduct market research to understand customer behavior, preferences, and market trends in different regions.
- Tracking and reporting on the performance of product listings, promotions, and advertising campaigns.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate key insights and recommendations for improvement to stakeholders.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and provide data-driven recommendations.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track business performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Assisting in the development and implementation of data-driven strategies to optimize processes and drive business growth.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data analysis and e-commerce.
- Supporting ad-hoc analysis and projects as needed to advance overall business objectives.
Qualifications and skills:
- 1-3 years of experience as a Marketplace Analyst, E-commerce Analyst, Business Analyst or similar role, preferably in the e-commerce or retail industry.
- Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and languages such as SQL, Excel, PowerBi, and Tableau.
- Familiarity with online marketplaces such as Amazon, eBay, Walmart, and others.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Self-motivated and proactive, with a passion for driving business results and continuous improvement.
- Experience with international marketplaces and cross-border e-commerce is a plus.
