Sr Commercial Operations Manager

Position Summary

Responsible to support in sales annual planning, forecasting, analyzing business data and generating reports / MIS to track sales matrices to support decision making, Planning, Implementation and Operational execution of Sales Compensation;

Setting up and implementing of sales CRM's like salesforce.com and provide back end support for pre- tender monitoring, Bid & Tender proposal preparation, collaboration with sales, commercial legal, finance, compliance procurement team to drive tender proposal preparation.

Duties and Responsibilities

Under limited supervision, general direction, etc. and in accordance with all applicable government laws, regulations and ASP policies, procedures and guidelines, this position:

Sales Planning, CRM management, Analysis and reporting

Support to prepare and roll out AOP to the regions;

Track actual performance against AOP and generate related MIS reports and recommend actions for gap closure;

Drive Estimating & Planning process for Monthly & Quarterly tracking estimates (Track & Cadence);

Support monthly estimate process with regional teams;

Support Operations Manager in the implementation of salesforce.com & other sales CRM tools, act as a one point contact for sales CRM issues, plan training for sales team;

Run specific reports to monitor progress and provide feedback on analysis & usage of SFDC;

Management and continuous improvement of reporting tools and review processes;

Work with CRM (Salesforce.com) system to manage quotes and capture customer-related actions;

Ensure accurate update of systems and data bases.

Pricing Management & Governance

Own & Execute Special pricing approvals process

Sales Incentive planning & Administration

Compensation Plan Set Up;

Develop and deliver sales training for the compensation plans based on plan guidelines;

Set up Annual Sales Targets for the Sales Team in the compensation systems, and send individual Plan Documents to all sales people;

Support the sales team with any questions regarding their Plan;

Partner with sales and sales leadership, human resources and finance to manage and administer the sales incentive plan (on schedule as determined with the region);

Take responsibility for the verification and accuracy of the payout;

Communicate payouts and timing to HR, Sales management and resolve any queries that arise;

Performance Tracking;

Take on ownership of the Global Performance Management Tool for India, and review on a regular basis with Sales Management to help them focus their team on performance improvement;

Respond to requests for ad-hoc compensation and performance analytics required for scenario simulations or auditing purposes Forecasting;

Take on ownership of the Global Forecasting Tool and Process for India, estimating commissions for Track 7, 10 and Full Year, in liaison with Finance.

Secondary Sales tracking

Bid & Tender Support

Independently driving Bids and Tender Tracking, Proposals preparation, and Price reporting;

Ensure on-time approval of economic and technical proposals, Manage all relevant administrative documents & record keeping;

Work with Sales to develop pricing strategy, submit tenders and lead post-tender monitoring;

Coordinate with Commercial and Finance department on Price Governance this includes managing approvals for Special Price Requests (SPR) as well contract compliance.

Qualifications

Education:

Bachelor's Degree Master's Degree

Years of Related Experience:

Must have a minimum of 6-8 years of experience as sales operations / business analyst experience in the medical device / Pharma industry;

3+ years of hands on experience of Customer Relationship Management tools, especially Salesforce.com.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Certifications/Licenses, and Affiliations:

(Include any required computer skills, regulatory knowledge, certifications, licenses, languages, cognitive and behavioral abilities etc.)

Strong experience with commercial departments (Sales, Marketing and Finance)Strong communication skills in English (both written and verbal);

Exposure to bids and tender proposal preparation & supporting government business;

Fluency in English;

Excellent Advance Excel Skills;

Strong Analytical skills;

Good problem-solving skills;

The ability to gather data, perform analysis, and clearly articulate conclusions and recommended strategy;

Attention to detail and accuracy;

Strong sense of urgency;

Personal integrity and strong ethics are critical to success in this position;

A strong work ethic and passion for commercial success;
