SUMMARY OF ROLE:
The Data Analyst is responsible for leading and supporting EDM projects, Data Quality Improvement and is accountable to work with Global/Region Master Data team to ensure successful project outcomes, data quality improvement goals are defined, understood, and met.
Has broad understanding for supporting and driving multiple data domains to define & execute project scope and deliverables.
This role is viewed as a techno-functional expert in the master data management domains (Customer, Supplier, Material and Finance). He/She will be required to collaborate with a multiple Bunge stakeholder spread across the globe from Business, IT and others stakeholder in order to define and achieve a mutually agreed outcome in the master data domains.
This role is expected to work closely with:
Business Subject Matter Experts to understand requirement details for executing timely solutions.
Business Data Owners to ensure alignment with domain priorities such as getting data rules & requirements.
IT team to provide functional domain expertise.
Requirements are gathered effectively.
Delivery Partner teams (both internal and external) to ensure requirements, specifications, design and delivery are high quality and meet business expectations.
Works closely with other Bunge IT teams to align the functional requirements to ensure integrated technology solutions are seamlessly executed across technology platforms and areas of responsibility.
KEY FUNCTIONS:
- Responsible to support end to end business requirements (Solutioning) requirement gathering, translate into Functional specifications.
- Support and engage with business to gather requirements, workshops, features listing, Prioritizing, negotiation of scope and priorities with business.
- Support to define project sequence, scope and deliverables as the Business Analyst.
- Support business UAT, organize the business UAT test scenarios, triage business test defects.
- Support to drive implementation of master data solutions on time and without affecting or impacting business processes.
- Builds relationships with internal and external service providers and support teams to ensure effective project delivery.
- Maintains in-depth understanding of processes and capability needs for master data.
- Understanding data policies; significant contribution to strategic direction on governing master data.
- Proactive analysis of business processes and identification of innovative ways to address business needs and address them appropriately in a timely manner.
- Leads Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives; consults and shares knowledge across
organization; full awareness of industry trends related to master data around both Customer and Supplier.
DEPARTMENT SPECIFIC FUNCTIONS AND REQUIEREMENTS (Must have):
- Direct experience in data migration, data enrichment, data Management solutions.
- Hands-on knowledge of key technologies including SAP MDG, MDM, SAP ECC/Hana
- Excellent knowledge and domain expertise in SAP ERP Customer, Vendor and FI Chart of Accounts(COA), Profit center, company code, GL Codes Master data (Any two).
- Experience with Data Dictionaries and Metadata management.

B.Tech / MCA / BE
Experience:
Minimum 6 years of professional data management experience
Minimum 4 years of working and supporting data migration, integration , data enrichment in SAP MDG / S4 Hana
Experience in translating business requirements into functional (information/data) design, establishing data models and preferably converting functional design to technical design
Have a good understanding of the Data Life Cycle Management and Customer, Material, Vendor and Finance - Create/Update process is a MUST
Strong experience in working closely with S4 Hana data structures and interface.
Able to work in a virtual team which may work across distance (remote), cultures and time zones
