Role Description

This is a full-time role for a Data Analyst - Banking at Workassist located in Mumbai. As a Data Analyst - Banking, you will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting complex data sets to provide actionable insights and recommendations to optimize processes, identify trends, and improve business performance. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and develop reports, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate key findings and drive data-driven decision-making. The role may involve collaborating with stakeholders to define metrics, conduct statistical analysis, and apply data modeling techniques.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or Computer Science
• Proven experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar role within the banking or financial industry
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, and/or R for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Qlik
• Knowledge of statistical analysis techniques and ability to apply them to real-world business challenges
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets
• Effective communication and presentation skills to convey insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
