Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled API Configuration and Data Analysis Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in working with RESTful APIs, exceptional skills in Excel for data manipulation and visualization, and the ability to efficiently perform software configuration tasks. This role involves updating and maintaining customer and carrier rate cards, setting up and running simulations, and ensuring that all configurations are tested and validated. Effective communication and strong analytical skills are essential for success in this role.
Required Skills:
- Strong background with RESTful APIs.
- Proficiency in Excel for data manipulation and visualization.
- Experience using Postman to test APIs.
- Ability to consistently and efficiently perform software configuration tasks using provided templates.
- Capability to execute test scripts to validate configurations.
- Research and analyze carrier-specific cost model changes.
- Strong communication skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in Project Management.
- Familiarity with Domo for data analytics.
Responsibilities:
- Update and maintain customer and carrier rate cards.
- Set up and run simulations to ensure accurate configurations.
- Add and configure new origins and fulfillment contexts.
- Edit and maintain carrier service methods within existing fulfillment contexts (Add/Remove/Update).
- Set up and maintain carrier surcharges and modifiers.
- Conduct analytics on carrier methods, costs, and performance.
- Run tests to compare expected versus actual costs, identifying and analyzing issues or patterns.
