Responsibilities:- Develop and implement a curriculum for Western dance styles, including jazz, hip-hop, contemporary, and ballet.
Plan and teach dance classes to students of different age groups and skill levels.- Choreograph and prepare students for school performances, competitions, and events.
Foster a supportive and motivating classroom atmosphere.
- Assess and track student progress, providing feedback and support for improvement.
Collaborate with the Performing Arts Department to enhance the overall arts program.- Stay updated with the latest trends and techniques in dance education.
Ensure the safety and well-being of all students during classes and rehearsals.
- Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development opportunities.
Bachelor's degree in Dance, Performing Arts, or a related field.
- Proven experience teaching Western dance styles to children and teenagers.
Strong choreography skills and experience in preparing students for performances.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
