Cypress Automation Testing

Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Cypress Automation Testing Engineer with 4-9 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for testing software applications and ensuring quality standards are met. You should have extensive experience in automation testing using Cypress, as well as a strong understanding of software development life cycle.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute automated test scripts using Cypress
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve defects
• Create and maintain test plans and test cases
• Identify test scenarios, prioritize and execute them
• Participate in design reviews and ensure all requirements are testable
• Develop and maintain test data and test environments
• Report defects and communicate test results to project stakeholders
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members
• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in automation testing

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
• 4-9 years of experience in automation testing using Cypress
• Strong understanding of software development life cycle and testing methodologies
• Experience in API testing using tools such as Postman
• Knowledge of SQL and database testing
• Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, etc.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask
• Certification in Cypress Automation Testing is a plus
