Job Summary:
As the Cybersecurity Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing our cybersecurity operations and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. You will be responsible for overseeing the security of our clients information systems, managing the cybersecurity team, and driving the strategic direction of our security services. A key part of your role will be to hold and maintain necessary certifications, such as CISSP, to meet the licensing requirements in the BVI.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Cybersecurity Operations: Oversee all cybersecurity activities, including threat assessments, vulnerability management, penetration testing, and incident response.
Certification and Compliance: Hold and maintain a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification or equivalent, and ensure compliance with BVI licensing requirements and international security standards.
Team Management: Manage, mentor, and develop a team of cybersecurity professionals, including analysts, ethical hackers, and compliance specialists.
Client Engagement: Work closely with clients to understand their security needs, provide tailored solutions, and ensure the highest level of client satisfaction.
Security Strategy Development: Develop and implement comprehensive cybersecurity strategies and policies to protect client data and infrastructure.
Incident Response: Lead the response to security incidents, ensuring rapid and effective resolution while minimizing impact.
Risk Management: Identify, assess, and manage security risks, providing recommendations to mitigate potential threats.
Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on the latest security trends, technologies, and regulatory requirements, and integrate these into the company's practices.
Reporting: Provide regular reports to senior management and clients on the state of cybersecurity, including risk assessments, incident reports, and compliance status.
Qualifications:
Certification Required: Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or equivalent is mandatory.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
At least 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on security management, risk assessment, and incident response.
Proven experience leading and managing cybersecurity teams.
Strong knowledge of security frameworks and standards such as ISO/IEC 27001, NIST, and PCI-DSS.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications:
Additional certifications such as Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), or ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Implementer/Auditor.
Experience working in or with regulated industries such as finance, healthcare, or government.
