Job Description:

We are currently seeking an experienced Cybersecurity and Cyber Law Lawyer with a strong background in commercial law to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of cybersecurity issues and laws, along with experience in reviewing service agreements, technology agreements, licensing agreements, and more. A foreign degree or master's from institutions in countries like Australia or the UK will be a significant advantage. This role is critical in ensuring our clients adhere to the latest legal standards in cybersecurity and commercial law.

Responsibilities:

Provide expert legal advice on a wide range of cybersecurity and cyber law matters.

Independently draft and review service agreements, technology agreements, licensing agreements, and other commercial contracts.

Ensure compliance with relevant cybersecurity regulations and standards, specifically in the Australian Jurisdiction.

Conduct detailed research on cybersecurity laws and produce comprehensive reports.

Collaborate with various departments to identify legal requirements and develop actionable solutions.

Stay updated with the latest developments in cybersecurity and commercial law.

Advise clients on data protection, privacy laws, and breach response strategies.

Help structure and organize workflow and implement document management systems.

Qualifications:

Undergraduate degree in Law; a master's degree from institutions in Australia or the UK is highly preferred.

A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in cybersecurity law and general commercial law.

Extensive experience in drafting and reviewing a variety of commercial agreements.

Strong understanding of cybersecurity regulations and standards.

Excellent problem-solving capabilities with a strategic outlook.

Superior communication skills, both written and spoken.

Ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.

Exceptional English language proficiency.
