Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst

Responsibilities:

Collect and analyze cyber threat intelligence from various sources, including open-source intelligence (OSINT), dark web forums, and internal security logs.

Monitor and assess current and emerging cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and attack methodologies.

Produce detailed and timely threat intelligence reports for internal stakeholders, providing actionable insights to enhance our cyber defense capabilities.

Collaborate with other security teams to integrate threat intelligence into daily operations and incident response activities.

Stay informed about the latest cybersecurity trends, tools, and techniques, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our threat intelligence program.

Participate in information-sharing initiatives with external partners and industry peers.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity, computer science, or a related field.

Proven experience in a cyber threat intelligence role or a related cybersecurity position.

Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, frameworks, and standards.

Proficiency in using threat intelligence platforms and tools.

Knowledge of threat actor groups, their tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs).

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Effective communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.

Relevant certifications such as CTIA, CompTIA Security+, or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications:

Master's degree in cybersecurity or a related field.

Experience with malware analysis and reverse engineering.

Familiarity with threat intelligence standards such as STIX/TAXI.

Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or relevant certifications on Threat Intelligence.
