Job Title: CyberArk Developer or Engineer
Preferred Location: Pune, Bangalore, Hyderabad
Job Summary:
The CyberArk Developer/Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and supporting CyberArk Privileged Access Management solutions. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with CyberArk implementations and a solid understanding of PAM best practices. This role involves collaborating with security architects, administrators, and other developers to enhance the security posture of the organization by developing secure and scalable CyberArk solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and implement CyberArk solutions, including password vaulting, session management, and privileged access controls.
Configure and customize CyberArk components such as Vault, CPM (Central Policy Manager), PSM (Privileged Session Manager), and AIM (Application Identity Manager).
Develop and maintain automated scripts for onboarding privileged accounts, rotating credentials, and managing CyberArk policies.
Integrate CyberArk with other security tools and enterprise systems, including Active Directory, SIEM, ticketing systems, and cloud environments.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to CyberArk implementations, providing support for security incidents.
Perform upgrades and patch management for CyberArk components, ensuring the environment remains secure and compliant.
Participate in the development of PAM policies, standards, and best practices to align with regulatory requirements.
Conduct code reviews, provide feedback to other developers, and ensure code quality and security standards are met.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, conduct gap analysis, and deliver CyberArk solutions that meet business and security needs.
Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, configuration guides, and operational procedures.
Stay current with CyberArk product updates, new features, and emerging PAM technologies.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
8+ years of experience working with CyberArk Privileged Access Management solutions.
Strong understanding of PAM concepts and best practices, including credential management, session monitoring, and least privilege.
Hands-on experience with CyberArk components such as Vault, CPM, PSM, and AIM.
Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash for automation and integration tasks.
Familiarity with directory services (e.g., Active Directory, LDAP), databases, and web services (e.g., REST, SOAP).
Knowledge of security frameworks and compliance standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, PCI-DSS).
Strong troubleshooting skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
Good communication skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with CyberArk API integration and development.
Knowledge of cloud-based environments and integrating CyberArk with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
CyberArk certification (e.g., CyberArk Certified Delivery Engineer, CyberArk Defender) is a plus.
Understanding of DevOps practices and experience with CI/CD pipelines for PAM deployment.
Familiarity with other IAM and PAM solutions (e.g., BeyondTrust, Thycotic, HashiCorp Vault) is preferred.
