We are hiring for a leading player in the Cyber Security domain, is seeking an experienced Cyber Security Engineer Team Lead with a strong background in Presales to join their team in Mumbai.
Major Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of security engineers while being hands-on in presales activities.
- Provide technical presales assistance for customers and partners.
- Develop and expand existing and new accounts in collaboration with sales representatives.
- Coach and mentor the Security Engineering (SE) team.
- Conduct technical product and solution presentations.
- Actively participate as a speaker at IT security events and trade shows.
- Translate customer business requirements into integrated technical solutions.
- Close complex and competitive opportunities through advanced technical skills and credibility.
- Identify revenue-impacting support escalations and proactively engage necessary parties to ensure timely and satisfactory resolution.
- Collaborate and communicate proactively with Product Management, Business Units, Sales, and Marketing.
- Maintain a broad understanding of the Security Threat Landscape and the IT Security industry, including past, present, and future trends.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Understand and drive discussions around the top 20 customer plans, aligning their security strategy with the company's portfolio.
- Act as an advisor in key accounts, ensuring effective coordination between sales, support, and R&D for optimal customer satisfaction.
- Monitor and support partners in large project implementations, managing and guiding such projects to successful completion.
- Execute quarterly business reviews with existing customers.
Desired Background:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 15 years of experience in networking standards and protocols (Ethernet, routing, UNIX, Network Management, Internet Protocol addressing).
- At least 5 years of experience in a team lead role.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team.
- Solid experience in data communication and a working knowledge of system design.
- Ability and willingness to travel.
- Extensive experience in Cyber Security, including network, data center, and cloud architectures.
