Infra and Cyber Security Architect
The Infra and Cyber Security Architect is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing secure infrastructure and cybersecurity solutions. This role involves ensuring the organization's IT systems are robust, resilient, and secure against cyber threats. The Infra and Cyber Security Architect will work closely with various departments to align security measures with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Security Architecture Design:
- Develop and implement security architectures for IT and network systems.
- Design and integrate security solutions into existing infrastructure and new projects.
- Risk Management:
- Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability analyses to identify potential threats.
- Develop and implement mitigation strategies to manage identified risks.
- Policy Development:
- Create, review, and update security policies, standards, and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Incident Response:
- Develop and maintain incident response plans and procedures.
- Lead the investigation and resolution of security incidents.
- Security Technologies:
- Evaluate, implement, and manage security technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, encryption, and endpoint protection.
- Oversee the deployment and operation of security tools and systems.
- Collaboration and Training:
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure security best practices are integrated into all projects.
- Provide training and awareness programs to educate staff on security policies and procedures.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of security architectures and processes.
- Prepare regular reports on security status, incidents, and metrics.
Qualifications:
- Education:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- Experience:
- Extensive experience in cybersecurity and infrastructure architecture.
- Proven track record of managing complex security projects and initiatives.
- Minimum of 10+ years experience, Strong understanding of technical products and solutions.
Certifications:
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or similar.
Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity principles, frameworks, and technologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
