The Access Control Design team is comprised of two virtual squads:
- Access Control Design and Implementation (ACD&I) (this role)
- Segregation of Duties (SOD)
The SSA is a senior technical role within the Access Control Design team. You are responsible for Identity Governance activities centrally for the NAB Group. The role involves:
- Providing packaged or pattern-based identity consulting services to colleagues, services that solve identity problems, e.g. myID-based creation, modification, and/or disabling roles, entitlements, workgroups, and applications. These services may include role-based access control modelling, information gathering, analysis, drafting of solutions, consultations with colleagues requesting the services, all with the intent of achieving a speedy yet safe outcome.
- Providing bespoke solutions using consulting methods or the development of access control designs that ultimately get implemented in myID.
- Supporting NAB colleagues (aka requestors) to prepare their submissions to our team, by validating entry criteria, obtaining detailed requirements, artefacts such as service owner approval, etc.
- Contributing to team in areas other than the services themselves, i.e. software tool development, techniques, and innovations to automate data validation, documentation management, workflow management, etc.
Responsibilities:
- Be responsible for ACD-focused outcomes and performing this role.
- Define and refine process documentation.
- Already have several years experience in identity and access management (IAM) or a related area of cybersecurity
- Possess strong communication and collaboration skills, backed by a strong eye for detail.
- Possess the ability to own your portfolio of work, as well as guide other team members by providing thought leadership, guidance, quality control and oversight duties.
- Provide feedback to management in multiple areas, e.g. ACD initiatives, colleague work.
The position holder will be required to be very familiar with the following concepts and/or technologies:
- SailPoint IIQ v.8.x (at a minimum)
- Service Management platforms and processes, e.g. Service Now
- Microsoft Active Directory/Azure
- Collaboration software, e.g. SharePoint, Confluence
- Scripting and scripting languages such as python
- Software developer automation/orchestration tools, e.g. Jenkins, Artifactory
Source code control repository, e.g. GitHub.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to understand business challenges and provide them with solutions to better manage their risks and controls
- Understand NAB policies and standard operating procedure.
Balances self-motivation with following team and squad management instructions
Nice to have: Qualifications and/or certifications in identity & access management, cybersecurity are highly valued, including but not limited to SailPoint official training, certifications such as the CISSP, CISM, Azure Cloud, etc.
