Job Responsibilities

Reporting to the National Customer Marketing Head, the Customer Marketing Manager assists in executing the activations for the On-Premise and Retail channel programs through programs designed by the Brand team, and as aligned with flagship and priority accounts. The primary focus will be to work with the sales team and own initiatives that can deliver a 3-way win; win for MHI, our customer and the consumer. The role will assist in the delivery of greater liquid on lips and frequency for MHI and our brands and fantastic quality of execution on ground

Customer Activation

  • Lead in the implementation and execution of activations in the On-Premise channel across the MH portfolio. To work with Sales team in the region to close activation calendar and execute with excellence to ensure budget and targets are met monthly
  • Drive P & L profitability ensuring the BTL investments help drive more volume growth for the brand while also help in meeting bottom line for the flagship accounts.
  • Assist the brand teams in the development and commercial relevance of the Plug and Play programs to drive mass reach in the channel driving significant value to the business.
  • Liaise with brand teams to secure merchandise and creative assets for activation campaigns and other customer marketing requirements/requests.
  • Liaise and develop with marketing, sales and production contacts with Imagery customers to deliver activations in full and on time.
  • Support with customer conferences/trade show/tastings where appropriate.
  • Plan deploy and measure the off-trade VAPs, new innovations and GWPs

Communication

  • Build a strong relationship with MHI sales team to ensure the core brand strategies are translated into optimal activation solutions.
  • Provide detailed analysis & regular reporting on channel activation initiatives & brand activation programs to assist in managing ROI.
  • Leading the execution agency to measure excellence in activation on ground

Financial Management

  • Manage relevant activation campaign budgets and keep the customer teams updated on tracking performance. Maintain strong A&P tracking methods to allow accurate delivery of the assigned budget
  • Challenge the spend required for activation programs to ensure efficiency and effectiveness of spend to reach the defined activity goals & measurement criteria

Customer Centricity

  • Manage 3rd party agencies to deliver excellent execution and represent the brand in accordance with global brand guidelines & luxury positioning. Ensure customers guidelines have been incorporated and approved as required.
  • Assist the Marketing Team in the preparation and implementation of the relevant Brand Plans & Maison Business Reviews where channel activity/plans/investment are required.

Profile

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 7 + years customer marketing experience, with an exposure in Key accounts and retail sales for Luxury sales. below-the-line execution
  • Marketing Degree or Business Degree with Marketing elective.
  • Experience with an international fast-moving consumer goods company
  • Appreciation of luxury goods market requirements and experience in luxury goods sector
  • Wine/Spirit market understanding is preferable
  • Exposure to the sales environment
  • Wine/Spirit product knowledge is preferred
  • Excellent creative and strategic thinking skills
  • Superior numerical and statistical skills
  • Good planning, implementation, presentation and negotiation skills
  • Good networking, influencing, and communication skills
