Role:
1. Coordinate with the customers across all aspects of ocean freight export shipments, including booking, documentation, and shipment tracking.
2. Monitor and track shipments to ensure on-time delivery and proactively address any delays or disruptions.
3. Provide timely and accurate updates to customers on the status of their shipments and address any inquiries or concerns in a professional manner.
4. Work closely with internal departments, including sales, operations, and finance, to coordinate shipment activities and resolve customer issues.
Qualifications:
1. Expertise in query handling and customer liaison is a must
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in ocean freight export operations and customer service roles within the logistics industry.
3. Strong knowledge of ocean freight export processes, documentation requirements, and international shipping regulations.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with customers, carriers, and internal stakeholders.
5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
6. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and under tight deadlines.
