Key Responsibilities
Develop technical aspects of the company's strategy to ensure alignment with its business goals.
Communicate technology strategy to partners and investors and ensure that technological resources
meet the company's short and long-term needs.
Collaborate with cross-functional departments to assess and recommend technologies that support
organizational needs.
Monitor projects on an ongoing basis, evaluating progress and quality against defined threshold,
managing issue resolution process, and taking corrective action as necessary.
Drive high standards on quality, delivering solutions on time and within budgeted cost.
Direct development and execution of an enterprise-wide information security plan that protects the
confidentiality, integrity and availability of the company's data and servers.
Build and sustain engineering team(s). Hire and develop top talent. Continuously improve team
efficiency and productivity.
Direct development and execution of an enterprise-wide disaster recovery and business continuity plan.
Track, analyze and monitor technology performance metrics and use stakeholders feedback to inform
necessary improvements and adjustments to technology.
Experience in working and managing the engineering groups of Applications, Cloud Apps and Open
source technologies will be preferred.
Desired Skills And Experience.
Previous working experience in similar role of CTO (Chief Technology
Officer).
Proven track record of success in leadership positions and should have at
least 15 years of experience in architecture and deployment of e-
Commerce applications in retail and e-Commerce business with hands-on
exposure to the latest e-Commerce. Server Applications preferred.
Experience includes at least 10 years in full lifecycle product engineering.
Ability to Identify, compare, select and implement technology solutions to
meet current and future needs.
Proficiency in designing and developing complex internet applications,
assessing and evaluating alternative solutions plus experience in building
scalable multi-channel software solutions.
Proven achievements in strategic planning at the enterprise level aligning
technology with business objectives resulting in efficient, high performing
teams, producing predicted results.
Demonstrated experience in selecting and managing external vendors to
design and implement designated aspects of enterprise IT requirements
and solutions.
A proven and consistent track record of meeting revenue targets.
