Maintaining sterilization equipment
Cleaning, inspecting, and assembling surgical instruments and equipment
Ensuring that all instruments and equipment are properly sterilized and packaged for use
Maintaining accurate records and documentation of all sterilization procedures and equipment maintenance
Adhering to infection control policies and procedures to prevent the spread of infection ensure the timely delivery of sterilized equipment and instruments
Additional certification or training in sterile processing or central sterile services is preferred
Previous experience working in a Central Sterile Services Department or similar role is highly desirable
Knowledge of sterilization techniques, infection control practices, and aseptic procedures
