Lead and manage a team of security professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure adherence to security protocols and regulations.
Conduct regular risk assessments and security audits to identify potential vulnerabilities and develop proactive strategies to mitigate security risks.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security measures into all aspects of airport/airline operations, including passenger screening, cargo security, and perimeter security.
Stay abreast of emerging security technologies and best practices, and make recommendations for the adoption of new security solutions to enhance overall security posture.
Serve as the primary point of contact for all security-related matters, both internally and externally, and represent the organization in security-related forums and discussions.
Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on security operations, potential threats, and risk mitigation strategies.
Ensure compliance with all aviation security regulations and standards set forth by relevant authorities and regulatory bodies.
Oversee security incident response and crisis management, developing and implementing effective response protocols to address security incidents.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with law enforcement agencies, government authorities, and other security stakeholders to enhance overall security coordination and effectiveness.
Qualifications
Education Qualification
Bachelor's degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, Aviation Security, or a related field.
Advanced degree or relevant certifications in security management or aviation security is preferred.
Experience
Minimum 15-26 years of experience in security management in the Airport/Airlines industry.
Demonstrated track record of successfully implementing security strategies and protocols.
Proven experience in leading and developing security teams.
