We are seeking a highly passionate and motivated Crypto Research Analyst to join our dynamic research team. In this role you will be responsible for conducting in-depth research and analysis on various cryptocurrencies, blockchain technologies, and market trends. This role requires a keen analytical mind, a deep understanding of the crypto market, and the ability to communicate complex concepts effectively.
In this function you will be responsible for the following:
- Conduct in-depth research on crypto markets and blockchain projects, evaluating technical features, tokenomics, and use cases
- Develop dashboards using Glassnode, Dune Analytics, etc. to track key projects and market indicators
- Implement fundamental and quantitative analysis frameworks to develop investment ideas
- Produce weekly and monthly institutional-grade research reports on market trends and opportunities
- Monitor regulatory developments and assess their impact on the crypto market
- Present actionable insights to the Investment Committee and support the sales team with client requests
- Collaborate with the product team to identify market opportunities for new offerings
- Liaise with marketing for research-based content creation and social media communication
- Identify collaboration opportunities with research houses, think tanks, and regulators
- Contribute to the banks crypto strategy, including evaluating partnerships and new product development
- Maintain a network of industry contacts to gain unique market insights
For you to become part of AMINA s journey, we require the following set of experience:
- Bachelors degree (Finance, Economics or Data Science preferred)
- 3+ years of experience and deep understanding of working in the field of cryptocurrencies, digital assets, blockchain technology or DeFi protocols.
- Proven track record of producing institutional-grade research reports
- Strong analytical skills with experience in quantitative and qualitative research methods
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Python, R, SQL) and visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, AI tools)
- Familiarity with on-chain analytics platforms like Glassnode, Dune Analytics, and Nansen
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for producing reports and presenting findings
- Knowledge of financial markets, traditional asset classes, and their relation to crypto markets
- Understanding of cryptographic principles and consensus mechanisms
- Awareness of global regulatory frameworks affecting the crypto industry
- Experience with technical analysis and trading strategies (preferred)
- Ability to distill complex technical concepts into accessible insights for various audiences
- Proactive and self-motivated with strong time management skills
- Comfortable in front of a camera/behind the microphone for podcasts, interviews, etc.
