Crewing team lead and focal point in Mumbai Office for India crew across the POSH Fleets.
Supervise daily crewing operations / activities of the Crewing Team in India.
Crew Operations
liaise and coordinate closely with BU to ensure crew line-up to join ship are available and ready per schedule.
ensure that crew line-up to join ship hold valid documents and certificates, complying to company and charter's certification and training requirements.
ensure that crew line-up to join ship hold required valid visa / work passes / permits to join ship.
supervise and ensure that India Team update and maintain crew profile and documentation in crew management system (Compas) promptly and accurately per KPI.
conduct familiarization and arrange for PI assessment for newly join / newly promoted crew.
conduct pre-joining briefing for Indian crew prior departure to join ship.
liaise and coordinate closely with Payroll Team (CRAC) on payment of balance wages and claims to crew promptly and without error.
liaise with local Indian authorities (eg DG Shipping) on Indian crew certification, maritime regulatory matters.
any other crewing related functions assigned by BU and Function Head

Job requirements
At least 4 years of experience handling marine crew.
Good communication and interpersonal skill.
Good organizational and administrative skill.
Good knowledge of international crewing regulations including flag state requirements, STCW, ILO, MLC 2006
