As a Credit Risk Assessment Executive, the selected candidate will play a pivotal role in evaluating and analyzing the creditworthiness of individuals and businesses applying for credit facilities. This position is crucial in minimizing credit risk for the organization by assessing financial stability, payment history, and overall creditworthiness of applicants.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough credit assessments for individuals and businesses applying for credit.
Evaluate financial statements, credit reports, and relevant financial information to determine creditworthiness.
Identify and propose risk mitigation strategies, working closely with risk management teams.
Analyze and interpret financial data using quantitative and qualitative methods to assess credit risk.
Ensure compliance with the organizations credit policies and procedures.
Maintain accurate records of credit assessments and decisions.
Communicate credit decisions and recommendations to relevant stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in finance, accounting, business, or a related field.
Previous experience in credit risk assessment or a similar role is preferred.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of financial analysis, credit scoring models, and risk management principles.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
Familiarity with regulatory requirements related to credit assessment.
