Job Description for Credit Analyst Position:
- Underwrite credit appraisals for all loans and present to senior management after verifying the supporting documents.
- Carry out the underwriting process as per the company's credit policies, including PDs, site visits, etc., ensuring portfolio quality and minimizing delinquencies in the assigned region. Maintain the desired TAT.
- Follow up with external vendors (technical, legal, FI & RCU, etc.) to ensure timely query resolution and report submission, eliminating any undue/non-process-related delays.
- a. Follow up for collections, coordinate with the sourcing team for collections, liaise with the recoveries team (if any), and report the status
to the supervisor. b. Follow up on cheque bounce/stressed accounts, including NPAs, and liaise with lawyers as required.
- Support business teams in direct marketing efforts to dealers, manufacturers, and existing customers. Maintain existing client relationships and conduct regular visits to customers, vendors, etc.
- Conduct periodical site visits as part of post-disbursement follow-ups to ensure portfolio quality and identify early warning signals, if any and propose suitable remedial action.
- Support operations and finance in bureau reporting, loan document preparation, asset classification, and provisioning.
- Ensure compliance with all audit and other regulatory regulations, as well as processes, policies, and reports as per company-designed systems.
- Maintain MIS and ensure regular portfolio analysis.
