Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Credit Manager specializing in supply chain finance to join our dynamic team. The Credit Manager will play a crucial role in assessing the creditworthiness of our clients and managing credit risks associated with our supply chain financing programs.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate the creditworthiness of clients applying for supply chain financing, utilizing financial statements, credit reports, and other relevant information.
- Analyze and assess the financial health of clients suppliers and buyers within the supply chain ecosystem.
- Develop and implement credit risk policies and procedures specific to supply chain finance, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with sales and business development teams to structure financing solutions that meet the needs of both clients and the company.
- Monitor and manage credit exposures, identifying potential risks and implementing mitigation strategies as necessary.
- Conduct regular reviews of client credit profiles and make recommendations for adjustments to credit limits or terms.
- Provide guidance and support to internal stakeholders on credit-related matters, including underwriting standards, risk assessment methodologies, and credit decision-making processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CFA designation preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in credit profile, with a focus on supply chain finance or trade finance.
- Strong understanding of financial statement analysis, credit risk assessment, and credit underwriting principles.
- Familiarity with supply chain dynamics, including procurement, logistics, and inventory management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in financial modeling and credit risk management software.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements governing supply chain finance, such as UCC filings and international trade regulations.
