Credit Manager - Credit Underwriting - NBFC - Chennai

Dear Candidates, We are hiring for one of our NBFC client for the following position.

Position - Credit Manager - Credit Underwriting - LAP

Location - Chennai

Experience - 3+ years experience

• Job Responsibilities:

Handling small - medium ticket for LAP

• Part of the Credit Underwriting Team.

Coordinating with Branch and Cluster credit team for Detailed review on underwriting files.

• Responsible for Credit Appraisal & Sanctioning.

Credit analysis, assessing the credit worthiness of potential borrowers by analyzing their financial statements/Credit Assessment/Risk assessment.

• Credit underwriting Approving or declining credit applications based on the risk assessment and established criteria.

Evaluating LAP (loan against property) for salaried and self employed clients. Identifying risks associated with lending and finding alternatives to mitigate them.

• Preparing detailed reports of the loans during the appraisal process.

Ensuring compliance with retail credit policy and guidelines of the Bank, Reserve Bank and other regulatory bodies.

• Coordinating with different teams like Technical, legal, fraud, document prep, draw down for smooth disbursement of the loans.

• Preferred Candidate profile:

3+ years of direct relevant work experience.

• The ideal candidate should have a strong background in credit underwriting, credit analysis, credit appraisals, credit sanctioning process in NBFC for LAP department.

Good professional communication and collaboration skills.

• Multi languages added advantage.
