Purpose of the Job

Responsible for efficient credit control and risk management for ALIPL. Expertise in performing Credit Analysis collections and commercial management. Formulation and execution of credit policy to build strong business relationship with both, internal and external customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collection of dues, follow ups with reminders
  • Record/data management, AR Reviews, invoice submission,
  • Adhere to the company's credit policies
  • Sales commission Processing TOD commissions, review etc.
  • Bank Guarantee - Vetting drafts, requisitions, Coordination with banks,
  • Letter of credit - Vetting drafts, Coordination with banks, submission of documents to bank
  • Monthly Accounting / Reporting of Provisions, LD's etc.
  • Analysis of Receivables status
  • Monthly cross functional meetings, Visit to customers etc.

External Parties

  • Dealing with Customers, sales agents of the company

Qualifications

A degree in Commerce or Postgraduate in Commerce / a Degree in Law / MBA

Experience

7-10 years of experience in handling the Credit Control / AR Management function

Domain Skill Set

Employing good Collection strategy, Knowledge of Commercial contracts, Accounting, Payment terms, Debt collection, Credit Policy, Knowledge of Commercial Laws, Letters of credit & Bank Guarantees

Soft Skills

Strong understanding of MS Office, knowledge of ERP system and extracting the required reports

Behavioral/ Leadership Skills

Problem Resolution Skills

Planning and Organizing

Excellent oral & written communication skills,

Out of the box thinking and ready to challenge the existing process

Ability to work with different work groups internally and externally.
