Job Title: Cards Origination System Manager

Job Summary: The Cards Origination System Manager is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end process of card issuance, from application through approval to production and delivery. This role requires a deep understanding of card origination systems, strong project management skills, and the ability to work across multiple departments to ensure efficient and secure operations. The Manager will drive system enhancements, ensure compliance with industry standards, and work to continually improve the customer experience. Key Responsibilities:
1. System Management:
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the cards origination system.
Ensure system performance, availability, and reliability.
Troubleshoot and resolve system issues promptly to minimize downtime.
2. Project Management:
Lead projects related to the development, enhancement, and deployment of the cards origination system.
Coordinate with IT, operations, compliance, and other departments to ensure successful project delivery.
Manage timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.
3. Process Improvement:
Analyze current processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement.
Implement process enhancements to increase efficiency and reduce processing times.
Utilize data analytics to monitor system performance and identify trends.
4. Compliance and Security:
Ensure the system complies with regulatory requirements and industry standards (e.g., PCI DSS).
Implement and maintain robust security measures to protect sensitive customer information.
Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential vulnerabilities.
5. Stakeholder Communication:

Act as the primary point of contact between technical teams, business units, and external vendors.
Communicate system updates, project statuses, and performance metrics to senior management and stakeholders.
Prepare and present detailed reports and dashboards.
6. Team Leadership:
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of IT professionals and project managers.
Foster a collaborative and high-performance team environment.
Conduct performance reviews and support professional development initiatives.
7. Customer Experience:
Work closely with customer service and support teams to ensure a seamless card application and issuance process.
Gather and analyze customer feedback to drive continuous improvement in the card origination process.
Develop and implement strategies to enhance the overall customer experience.
8. Vendor Management:
Manage relationships with external vendors providing card production and delivery services.
Negotiate contracts and ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are met.
Coordinate with vendors to address and resolve any issues promptly. Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field. An MBA or advanced degree in a relevant discipline is preferred.
Experience:
Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in Credit Card management, COS, or a related role within the financial services industry.
Proven track record of managing large-scale technology projects and cross-functional teams.
Experience with card origination systems and related technologies is a must
