Job Description

  • Interact with companies to understand their business model and banking requirements, and debt in particular

  • Assess the proposal for feasibility based on stage of company, sustainability and scalability of the business model, equity raising plans.

  • Structure the transaction and stipulate covenants to mitigate the risks
  • Discuss / negotiate with the term sheet with the borrower
  • Analyze credit data, financial statements, projections; perform internal credit rating; and prepare credit assessment memo as per stipulated guidelines and policy
  • Present the proposal to sanctioning committee to resolve queries with a view to secure sanction
  • Perform ongoing monitoring to maintain credit quality through consistent checks on business performance and continuous engagements with clients
