- Character Rigging: Design and create advanced character rigs for creatures, animals, and other non-human characters using industry-standard software such as Autodesk Maya or other relevant tools
- Skeleton Setup: Develop efficient and anatomically accurate skeleton structures for characters, ensuring proper deformations during animation
- Skinning and Weight Painting: Work on skinning and weight painting processes to achieve realistic and smooth deformations of the character's mesh during animation
- Facial Rigging: Implement facial rigging systems that allow animators to express a wide range of emotions and facial movements for characters
- Cloth and Hair Dynamics: Integrate dynamic systems for cloth, fur, feathers, and hair to enhance the realism of character movement
- Collaboration: Collaborate with animators, modelers, and other departments to ensure that the character rigs meet the creative and technical requirements of the project
- Problem-Solving: Troubleshoot and solve technical issues related to character rigging, animation, and deformation to achieve high-quality results
- Pipeline Integration: Implement and maintain character rigging workflows within the production pipeline, ensuring compatibility with other departments and software
- Documentation: Create and maintain documentation for character rigs, rigging workflows, and tools developed for the production team
- Stay Updated: Stay current with industry trends, tools, and techniques related to character rigging and animation
