Position Title: Creative Producer/Development Executive

Studio Underground is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Creative Producer/Development Executive to join our dynamic film production team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, refining, and pitching film concepts to producers, investors, and studios. This role requires a deep understanding of the film industry, market trends, and strong communication and storytelling abilities to effectively present ideas that resonate with potential backers.
Collaborate with writers, directors, and other creative team members to develop compelling film concepts.
Analyze market trends to identify the type of content that is in demand.
Prepare and deliver persuasive pitches to producers, investors, and studios.
Create pitch decks, treatment documents, and other presentation materials.
Tailor pitches to different audiences, highlighting key elements that will appeal to specific producers or investors.
Build and maintain relationships with key industry stakeholders, including producers, directors, and studio executives.
Attend industry events, film festivals, and networking sessions to present film concepts.
Conduct thorough research on market demands, audience preferences, and competitor projects to ensure concepts are relevant and attractive.
Provide feedback on the feasibility and marketability of proposed film concepts.
Manage the development process from concept to pitch, ensuring that deadlines are met.
Coordinate with various departments, including finance, marketing, and production, to align the pitch with the overall project strategy.
Bachelor's degree in Film Studies, Media, Communication, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in the film industry, with a strong background in concept development and pitching.
Proven track record of successfully pitching and selling film concepts.
Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling skills.
Strong understanding of the Indian film market and audience preferences.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Familiarity with film production processes.
Strong network within the film industry.
Proficiency in using pitch-related software and tools (e.g., Keynote, PowerPoint).
