We are in the process of creating a bank of films for Cond Nast Traveller: these films will include visually exciting standalones as well as format- and theme-driven IPs. We are seeking a talented individual to join our luxury lifestyle media brand as a Short-Form Video Creator. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conceptualizing and producing engaging and visually stunning videos for our digital platforms. The role requires you to create a slate of videos each month, and then produce them through the resources at hand, including internal and external contributors and creators.
Responsibilities:
- Conceptualize, plan, and execute short-form video content
- Film and edit videos to create visually appealing and engaging content
- Collaborate with internal and external creators to develop video concepts and storylines, and to produce final videos
- Ensure videos are produced in a timely manner and meet brand guidelines
- Assist the social media team with content and publishing
Skills and Qualifications:
- 1+ years in creating video for digital platforms, preferably with a digital publisher, fashion, entertainment or lifestyle brand, or advertising agency or social platform. A track record of growing an audience and creating videos across key social video platforms would be a bonus.
- Understanding of social media platforms and a passion for social video is crucial: the candidate must be well-versed in social ecosystems, evolving algorithms, and what makes content engaging and shareable
- Proficient in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve (note: you will have to work with software that has been licensed by the company)
- Strong understanding of cinematography, lighting, and sound design
- Excellent storytelling and narrative skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a teambeing a team player is a must!
- Knowledge of typography and design principles
- Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics
- Experience in creating content for social media platforms
- An understanding of how to create light-lift productions while adhering to brand quality

- Adobe Premiere Pro
- Adobe After Effects (for motion graphics)
- Adobe Photoshop (for graphic design)
