Writer's Pocket is a publishing house in Vadodara. We publish, print, market and distribute books across the country, catering specifically to the younger generation of writers and readers.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a creative graphic designer located in Vadodara. The Creative Graphic Designer will be responsible for day-to-day tasks such as creating custom book cover designs, book manuscript designing, making illustrations and other related tasks.

Responsibilities

• Understand client requirements and create custom book cover designs as per the references.
• Discuss with the client and create simple line illustrations for poetry, short stories, etc.
• Create creative and high-quality designs so there are no issues while printing.
• Design the interior layout of the manuscripts to make them print-ready.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts or related field
• Experience in the publishing industry is a plus

Skills required: Adobe Creative Cloud (specially Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Acrobat)

Education: Bachelor's degree
