Key Responsibilities:
- Content Creation: Develop and write comprehensive content related to CPT coding, fee coding practices, and related documentation. This includes training materials, user guides, policy documents, and other written resources.
- Documentation: Draft and review fee coder affidavits and other formal documents related to fee coding, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Training Support: Assist in the creation and updating of training materials for fee coders. Collaborate with trainers to ensure that content aligns with current coding practices and standards.
- Quality Assurance: Perform thorough reviews of content to ensure correctness, consistency, and adherence to coding guidelines and industry standards.
- Research: Stay current with changes in CPT codes and fee coding practices, integrating new information into existing content as needed.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the coding team, trainers, and other stakeholders to gather information and ensure content accuracy.
Requirements:
- Experience: 3-4 years of experience as a content writer with a focus on fee coding or a related field. Previous experience as a fee coder or trainer is highly desirable.
- Knowledge: In-depth understanding of CPT coding, fee coding practices, and healthcare coding standards.
- Skills: Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail. Ability to convey complex information in a clear and concise manner.
- Education: Certification in coding or fee coding (e.g.,CPT) is a plus.
- Tools: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with content management systems.

Pay: 20,000.00 - 30,000.00 per month
