Engineer- CPQ Mechanical (3-5 yrs)

Job Title : Engineer- CPQ
Department : Configuration CoE
Reports to : Manager - Configuration CoE
Description of Essential Duties:
* Engineer- CPQ will play a crucial role in efficient product configuration and Engineering BOM services, creating and managing Sales BOMs and its dependent Super BOMs of highly configurable products.
* He/ She will be working with multiple Vertiv business stakeholders to elicit, analyse, and validate all the requirements related to product specifications and the CPQ process.
* Will be responsible for generating and updating Product configurations, Engineering BOM, BOM Structuring & Updating respective changes.
* Liaising with the Master data management team to set up the driving configuration parameters.
* Working on multiple projects to develop sales BOMs using the Engineering BOMs and their desired configurations.
* To do testing, validation, and compatibility checks for available variants and define logic for uniting or filtering S-BOMs to make Master BOM by referencing Engineering BOMs and technical specifications provided by businesses.
* Will schedule, conduct, and report the User Acceptance Test (UAT). Responsible for releasing and managing engineering changes related to Oracle CPQ.
* Expected to collaborate with Product Engineering, Sales, Oracle IT, Master Data Management team, and Operations teams during the design, change and release process to production.
* Should follow the best CPQ practices based on business needs and requirements.
Job Specifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical engineering Or Equivalent
* Minimum 3-4 Years of Experience in Product Configuration Or CPQ
* Work Experience with Oracle CPQ, and Similar Tools.
* Must have Knowledge and Experience on Product variants, Sales BOMs, Engineering BOMs, and Super BOMs.
* Exceptional analytical skills to define configuration-based, parameter-driven sales BOMs for quoting Purposes.
* Must have MS Office/ Excel Working Knowledge and Good Expertise.
* Be Open to Learning Various Business Processes and New Applications
* Self-motivated, disciplined, passionate, Willingness to learn and organized.
