Job Description

Summary

  • The Country Leader will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies,
  • managing sales teams, and driving revenue growth across multiple unions/states within India.
  • This role demands a high level of leadership, strategic thinking, and sales acumen to ensure the
  • company's competitive positioning and growth in the region.

Sales Strategy and Execution

  • Develop and execute regional sales strategies aligned with HCLSoftware's global objectives.
  • Identify market opportunities and drive initiatives to capitalize on them across multiple unions / states.
  • Set and achieve new software sales targets for the region, ensuring consistent revenue growth.

Team Leadership and Management

  • Lead, mentor, and manage the regional sales teams, setting and achieving sales targets for each country / product.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performance culture focused on exceeding sales targets and delivering exceptional customer value.
  • Drive revenue growth and profitability, ensuring financial targets are met in all countries.
  • Recruit, develop, and retain top sales talent across the region.

Customer Relationship Management

  • Develop and maintain strong customer relationships with key customers and strategics accounts across the region.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Address and resolve escalated customer issues promptly and effectively.

Market Analysis and Insights

  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive threats.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to senior management based on market intelligence.
  • Adapt sales strategies to meet the evolving needs of the market.

Revenue and Financial Management

  • Develop and manage the regional sales budget, ensuring financial targets are met.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics and implement corrective action as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with local financial regulations and reporting requirements.

Collaboration and Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Collaborate with other regional leaders and global teams to align sales strategies and initiatives.
  • Work closely with marketing, product development, and customer supports teams to ensure a cohesive approach to market.
  • Drive the adoption of best practices and innovative sales techniques.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Computer Science, or related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in a senior sales leadership role within the software or technology industry, with experience managing multiple countries or regions.
  • Proven track record of driving sales growth and achieving targets.
  • Strong understanding of the regional market and regulatory environment.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and internal teams.
