Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Country Sales Head to lead our sales efforts in Pune. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the education sector, with a proven track record of building and managing high-performing sales teams, driving revenue growth, and establishing strong relationships with educational institutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and market penetration in the education sector.
- Team Building: Recruit, mentor, and manage a team of sales professionals. Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the team.
- Revenue Generation: Drive sales growth by identifying new business opportunities, cultivating relationships with key stakeholders, and closing deals with educational institutions.
- Market Analysis: Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs. Use this information to refine sales strategies and identify growth opportunities.
- Customer Relationship Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with school administrators, educators, and other key decision-makers. Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
- Sales Operations: Oversee the sales operations, including pipeline management, forecasting, and reporting. Ensure the team meets or exceeds sales targets and KPIs.
- Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product development, and customer support teams to align sales efforts with overall business objectives and enhance the customer experience.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years of sales experience in the education sector, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in building and managing sales teams, achieving revenue targets, and growing market share.
- Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a sales team to achieve high performance.
- Market Knowledge: Deep understanding of the education market in India, including key players, trends, and customer needs.
- Relationship Building: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans, with a focus on long-term growth and sustainability.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
