Job Description: Country Manager - Mystery Shopper Business (Mumbai, India)

Position Title: Country Manager

Location: Mumbai, India

Reporting To: CEO

With a strong focus on delivering powerful insights through advanced technology platforms, we serve corporate clients across various sectors. As we expand our operations, we are looking for a dynamic Country Manager based in Mumbai to lead our business development efforts across India.

Position Overview:

The Country Manager will be responsible for establishing and growing the company's presence in India. This role involves developing and executing strategic plans to acquire new business, building and managing a business development team across multiple territories, driving overall revenue growth, and managing the P&L for the country. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business development, sales, financial management, and team management within the market research or related industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Development & Sales:

Identify and target potential clients across various industries to drive business growth.

Develop and implement a comprehensive business development plan to acquire new clients and expand existing accounts.

Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers within target organizations.

Present and promote the company's mystery shopping services to potential clients, tailoring solutions to meet their specific needs.

Team Building & Management:

Recruit, train, and lead a high-performing business development team across different regions within India.

Set clear goals and KPIs for the team, monitor performance, and provide regular feedback and coaching.

Foster a collaborative and results-driven team culture, ensuring alignment with company objectives.

Strategic Planning & Execution:

Develop and execute a strategic plan to establish and grow the company's presence in the Indian market.

Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and client needs to identify growth opportunities.

Collaborate with the CEO and senior management to align business development strategies with overall company goals.

Provide regular reports and updates to the CEO on business performance, market developments, and team progress.

Financial Management (P&L):

Take full ownership of the country's Profit & Loss (P&L) management, ensuring financial targets are met or exceeded.

Monitor and control costs, optimize revenue streams, and drive profitability for the India operations.

Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports, providing insights into financial performance.

Implement financial controls and procedures to ensure operational efficiency and financial integrity.

Client Relationship Management:

Act as the primary point of contact for key clients, ensuring exceptional service delivery and client satisfaction.

Work closely with clients to understand their requirements and develop customized mystery shopping solutions.

Address any client concerns or issues promptly and effectively to maintain long-term partnerships.

Qualifications:

10+ years of experince with Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).

Proven experience in business development, sales, financial management, or a similar role within the market research, retail, or related industry.

Strong track record of successfully establishing and growing new business in a competitive market.

Demonstrated experience managing P&L and driving financial performance.

Excellent leadership and team management skills, with experience building and leading sales teams.

Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Exceptional communication and presentation skills.

Ability to travel across India as required.
