Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Costing & Estimation Engineer specialising in corporate interior projects. The role involves tasks such as preparing BOQ, project estimation, negotiation, ensuring projects are delivered within budget, and providing expert commercial advice to ensure successful project outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed cost estimates, bills of quantities, and tender documentation.
• Analyze and compare tender returns, negotiate contracts, and recommend contractors.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates for interior fit-out projects
• Conduct rate analysis & develop competitive pricing strategies
• Create accurate quotations based on project specifications
• Collaborate with design & project management teams
• Review subcontractor quotations for accuracy
• Monitor project budgets and costs
• Tender Pricing, Costing & Detailing
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure design and construction align with project budgets.
• Provide expert advice on procurement strategies, contract administration, and commercial matters.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry regulations.
• Participate in the commercial & technical meetings.

Qualification & Requirements

1. Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, BE or related field.

2. Minimum 3 years of experience in quantity surveying, in commercial interior projects only.

3. Strong knowledge of construction contracts

4. Proficient in cost estimation & rate analysis

5. Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.

6. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
