Responsibilities:

Scope & Key Outputs required:
  1. Product Costing.
  2. Machine Hour Rate Calculations.
  3. Machine Utilization.
  4. Manpower Utilization.
  5. Variance Analysis reports.
  6. Monthly MIS.
  7. Stock reconciliation reports.
The following activities are involved in achieving the mentioned outputs:
  1. Collecting cost information and maintaining an expenses database.
  2. Constructing / enhancing existing data accumulation systems.
  3. Identifying processes/activities involving costs.
  4. Finalizing parameters for cost allocation.
  5. Determining and classification of fixed & variable costs.
  6. Reviewing standard/budgeted and actual costs for inaccuracies.
  7. Estimating product costs for existing and new products.
  8. Analysing and reporting profit margins.
  9. Preparing (monthly, quarterly, and annual) cost forecasts.
  10. Assisting in month-end and year-end closing.
  11. Identifying and recommending cost-effective solutions etc.
Skills & Other Requirements:
  1. Proficiency in MS Excel is a fundamental requirement.
  2. Understanding of Accounting principles.
  3. Practical experience of Softwares / ERPs (e.g., SAP).
  4. Capable of gathering and consolidating cost-related information through clear and concise communication.
  5. Engineering drawing reading skills to extract relevant cost related information.
  6. Knowledge of data analytics and visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI, will add value.
