Responsibilities:
1.Product Development
- Involvement in new product development process- From Sample Study, RM finalisation, material costing, operating cost, packing cost, tooling cost and finally product costing.
2. New Product/Project RFQ Process.
- Responsible to respond to the new product/project RFQ from new or existing customers.
- Responsible to respond to the new product/project RFQ from new or existing customers.
- Discussing the Project requirements with Development team/Management for Technical feasibility
3.Tool Details, Tools Cost, Packing Details, Price Terms, ROI workout
- Complete technical feasibility study after confirmation from concerns proceed further for product costing process.
- Plastic materials, their combinations & utilisation finalisation by content info provided by some customers.
- Reverse engg process on the samples to find out RM, masterbatch details & content, also narrowing down at its technical and commercial feasibility.
- Working out Tool Costs, Tool Construction, Cavities of mould finalisation as per order qty, as consider flow, size of product, complexity of part etc.
- Designing the packing requirements manually by deep thinking & working to arrive at final packaging from initial concept.
- Try to use std packaging or predeveloped packaging for new products. Enquire packaging requirements from customer and develop it inhouse with local vendor.
- Deciding & finalizing on the initial pallet packaging too as above.
4.Project authorisation, CFT coordination & pricing controls.
- Release project authorisations to concern CFT members after project approval with finalised format approved by management.
- Review the costing of development components after handover, whether it is inline with the authorisation format working and costing.
- Check & study the Customer Export PO for Items rates etc.
- Prepare prices for Trading products & also checking if packing can be done by Company
- Prepare Stock prices for Store departments for already sold or unsold products.
- Review polymer price trend and informing management for decision making.
- Find out the possibilities for price reduction in existing product & new develop project. Workout the proposal & present it to Directors.
- TDk amortisation part communication for revised costing.
- Maintain samples for visitors for Companyproject.
- Recording the quotations history. Analysis of enquiry to quote and hit ratio & then quote to PO
