PM Group is now recruiting for a Cost Controller to provide and deliver technical expertise on a Food Manufacturing Plant.
This is a Site Based Contract in Ujjain in Madhya Pradesh
Responsibilities - First Priority is the Safety & Health of all persons working on or visiting the site.
- Cost Reporting of capital expenditure projects (equipment & construction)
- Management of Budget (WBS) and Control with tools and associated deliverables
- Processing Contractor, Vendor and Sub-consultant invoices and payments for multiple packages
- Receive, sort and reconcile invoices and supporting documentation against purchase order terms and conditions, payment milestones and goods receipt notifications
- Distribute and track invoices to various Project owners / package leads for approval
- Perform Supplier account reconciliations and work with Purchasing Team and Suppliers to resolve any issues
- Responds to and resolve enquiries from Suppliers, Procurement, and Finance departments in a professional and timely manner
- Preparation of monthly statements and reconciliation of accounts for month end Reporting
- Take ownership of designated tasks and projects as assigned
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years experience in a similar role, preferably in the Purchasing or Project Controls department of an Engineering, Client, Supplier or Contractor organisation
- Fluent English Language
- Ability to regularly interact with staff, management and contractors to provide or obtain related information
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel
- Strong work ethic, sense of responsibility and confidentiality
- An organised self-starter who is attentive to detail and able to work independently
- Ability to prioritise work and manage multiple tasks, likely with competing priorities
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to contribute effectively within a team environment
- Able to maintain a professional demeanour in challenging situations
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
