Job Description

PM Group is a leading International engineering, architecture, project and construction management firm. With a network of offices in Europe, Asia and the US and a multi-discipline team of 3,500 people, we deliver complex, capital projects in the life sciences, food and beverages, mission critical/ICT, advanced manufacturing, energy and environmental sectors.
PM Group is now recruiting for a Cost Controller to provide and deliver technical expertise on a Food Manufacturing Plant.
This is a Site Based Contract in Ujjain in Madhya Pradesh

Responsibilities

  • First Priority is the Safety & Health of all persons working on or visiting the site.
  • Cost Reporting of capital expenditure projects (equipment & construction)
  • Management of Budget (WBS) and Control with tools and associated deliverables
  • Processing Contractor, Vendor and Sub-consultant invoices and payments for multiple packages
  • Receive, sort and reconcile invoices and supporting documentation against purchase order terms and conditions, payment milestones and goods receipt notifications
  • Distribute and track invoices to various Project owners / package leads for approval
  • Perform Supplier account reconciliations and work with Purchasing Team and Suppliers to resolve any issues
  • Responds to and resolve enquiries from Suppliers, Procurement, and Finance departments in a professional and timely manner
  • Preparation of monthly statements and reconciliation of accounts for month end Reporting
  • Take ownership of designated tasks and projects as assigned
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 5 years experience in a similar role, preferably in the Purchasing or Project Controls department of an Engineering, Client, Supplier or Contractor organisation
  • Fluent English Language
  • Ability to regularly interact with staff, management and contractors to provide or obtain related information
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel
  • Strong work ethic, sense of responsibility and confidentiality
  • An organised self-starter who is attentive to detail and able to work independently
  • Ability to prioritise work and manage multiple tasks, likely with competing priorities
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to contribute effectively within a team environment
  • Able to maintain a professional demeanour in challenging situations
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
