We are seeking an experienced Cost Accountant to join our team in Mumbai. The ideal candidate will have 3-7 years of relevant experience in the job market context of Mumbai.

Responsibilities

• Develop cost standards and maintain accurate cost accounting records
• Analyze production costs and recommend cost-saving measures
• Prepare and analyze financial reports, including monthly and quarterly financial statements
• Provide guidance and support to other departments regarding cost accounting issues
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures
• Conduct periodic audits to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
• 3-7 years of experience in cost accounting
• Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP systems, and other accounting software
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of Indian accounting standards and tax laws
• Certified Cost Accountant (ICWAI) preferred
