Responsibilities:
1. Sales Initiation and Client Engagement:
- Initiate sales with potential customers.
- Support in identifying potential corporate clients.
- Follow up with existing and prospective clients.
- Build and manage a pipeline of prospective clients.
- Engage with corporates and startups to convert leads into clients.
2. Client Relationship Management:
- Maintain clients and sales data records.
- Generate new customer leads and maintain relationships with customers.
- Acquire and maintain relationships with corporate clients to drive business.
- Contribute to generating new sales that develop into long-term relationships.
- Maintain relationships with existing clients by understanding their requirements and proposing solutions.
3. Operational Coordination:
- Work closely with the Director, pricing/operations team, and marketing team.
- Understand operations, logistics, and destinations.
- Gather market information and identify new business opportunities.
- Forge relationships with large Indian corporate customers.
4. Team Leadership and Supervision:
- Set targets and guide Sales Representatives in developing new customers, focusing on profitable growth.
- Supervise Sales Representatives while managing your own sales territory, calling on customers, and developing new business.
- Ensure a safe and efficient work environment for all branch personnel, maintaining regular communication with the corporate safety department to adhere to safety procedures.
- Perform general administrative duties.
5. Strategic Planning and Reporting:
- Own all plans and strategies for developing business and achieving the company's sales goals.
- Head the entire Sales Team with a major focus on driving Corporate Business.
- Assist in the development of the sales plan.
- Prepare forecasts and KPI reporting for the Sales Team, for use in organizational planning, financial forecasting, budget setting, and strategic planning.
- Provide full visibility into the sales pipeline at every stage of development.
- Participate in strategic meetings.
- Identify potential new leads and conduct initial outreach.
- Achieve monthly targets by identifying and developing new customers.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 10 years of supervisory experience.
- Ability to create and maintain a positive culture, representing the company's best interests while building a strong branch team.
- Outstanding leadership and organizational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Impeccable safety record.
- Solid business acumen and management skills.
