Job Description

The Corporate sales Manager is responsible for driving sales and revenue within the MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) segment of the travel industry. This role involves identifying and targeting potential clients, understanding their event requirements, proposing tailored solutions, and effectively managing the sales process to achieve set targets and contribute to the overall growth of the organization.

Qualification : Bachelor degree in Business administration, Marketing, hospitality, tourism ,Event Management & Master s in Business Administration (MBA) or a related field can be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Rolling out & nurturing global & local accounts along with acquisition of new busines s .
  • Research and identify potential clients within the corporate sector who are interested in hosting MICE events.
  • Client retention & leading strategic initiatives that influence business growth& profitability.
  • Cold calling, networking, and attending industry events to establish relationships and generate leads.
  • Engage with potential clients to understand their specific event requirements, objectives, and budget constraints.
  • Propose suitable MICE packages and solutions that align with client needs and objectives.
  • Proposal and Presentation: Create compelling and customized proposals that outline the event details, including venues, accommodations, catering, transportation, and additional services.
  • Deliver persuasive presentations to clients, addressing their queries and concerns.
  • Negotiate terms and pricing to ensure a win-win situation for both the client and the organization.
  • Prepare contracts and agreements, ensuring all terms are accurately documented.
  • Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their evolving needs and preferences.
  • Act as a point of contact throughout the planning and execution phases of the event.
  • Collaborate with internal teams such as operations, logistics, and event planning to ensure seamless execution of events.
  • Coordinate with marketing teams to create promotional materials and campaigns for MICE services.
  • Set and meet sales targets and revenue goals as outlined by the organization.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, client interactions, and progress.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and market dynamics to adapt sales strategies accordingly.
  • Conduct post-event follow-ups to gather feedback from clients and identify areas for improvement.
  • Bachelors degree in Business, Hospitality, or a related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience in sales, preferably within the travel or hospitality industry.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Negotiation and persuasion abilities.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in using sales and CRM software.
  • Knowledge of the MICE industry, including event planning and logistics, is a plus.
  • Flexibility to travel for client meetings and industry events as required.
