The Assistant Manager, Corporate Sales, plays a key role in driving business growth by securing tie-ups with new and existing clients. Additionally, they are responsible for identifying companies engaged in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities for Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs). This position requires strong sales acumen, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with corporate clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Acquisition and Relationship Management:
- Develop and execute strategies to acquire new corporate clients across various industries.
- Build and nurture relationships with key decision-makers within client organizations.
- Understand client requirements and tailor solutions to meet their specific needs.
- Ensure high levels of client satisfaction and retention through proactive communication and service delivery.
- Tie-ups and Partnerships:
- Identify opportunities for strategic tie-ups and partnerships with new and existing clients.
- Negotiate and finalize agreements, contracts, and partnerships that align with the company's objectives.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution and delivery of partnership initiatives.
- Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Initiatives:
- Research and identify companies engaged in CSR activities, particularly those targeting PSUs.
- Establish connections and engage with CSR decision-makers to explore partnership opportunities.
- Develop proposals and presentations highlighting the benefits of collaborating on CSR initiatives.
- Market Research and Analysis:
- Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities.
- Conduct market research to identify potential clients, market segments, and growth opportunities.
- Analyze sales data and performance metrics to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
- Reporting and Documentation:
- Prepare regular reports, presentations, and updates on sales activities, pipeline status, and client engagements.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions, agreements, and correspondence.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications and Skills: - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field. MBA preferred.
Proven experience in corporate sales, business development, or account management roles.- Strong sales acumen and negotiation skills, with a track record of achieving sales targets.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to identify and capitalize on business opportunities.
Proficiency in MS Office suite and CRM software.- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
