Being headquartered in Kota Damansara, Selangor and with our branch located in Shah Alam, Selangor, Adnan Rahim & Co over the years have built strong expertise in legal matters from Corporate & Commercial to Telecommunication Infrastructure.
We would like to invite law graduates who are keen to learn conveyancing, litigation, corporate and estate planning to join our team.
- Job Responsibilities
- Draft and review agreement in both Bahasa Malaysia and English with minimum supervision and errors.
- Keep update on the current legal movement and to advise on legal compliance issues.
- Provide legal advice on structuring of legal documentation.
- Attend meetings and discussions with clients and to advice clients on any corporate matters.
- Plan for the corporate department of the firm
- Conduct research and to provide advice on Commercial Laws and Corporate law.
- Improvise and oversee the clients company policies on legal affairs periodically.
- Prepare weekly status reports.
- Provide suggestions and ideas in handling cases and engaging in a pro-active in discussions.
- Qualifications and Requirements
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor of Law LLB (Hons) or Certificate of Legal Practice (CLP) and must be admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaysia.
- Experienced in handling mergers acquisition and due diligence including other corporate arrangements and dealings.
- Possess high English competencies in communication and drafting.
- Well verse and have a good understanding in Companys Act and Company Law.
- Familiar with corporate structure and corporate restructuring
- Minimum 3 years of working experience (exclude experience in Chambering, Law Intern and Pupilage).
- Possess strong interpersonal skills and excellent problem-solving skills.
- Able to draft commercial contracts, Joint ventures, Shareholders agreements and other corporate contracts.
- Able to handle matters independently and work under pressure.
- A team player who is able to work with peers and senior management.
- Organised and resourceful.
- Able to work longer hours if and when required by the firm.
- Possess Mandarin literacy is a plus point.
- Salary range between RM3,000 to RM7,000 (depending on years of experience and knowledge).
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM7,000.00 per month
